#1 "3-5" inch

3-5 inches - Largest of the crushed stone grade. Used for larger jobs such a culvert ballast.

Class 1 Rip Rap

12-18 inches per piece, 50-150 lbs - Large blocky stones. Used for ditch lining in moderate flow areas. Commonly used for erosion control and controlling water flow.

⅜ inch pieces - Crushed stone gravel. Used to touch-up stone driveways, used in ready-mix-concrete, septic fields, bedding for large pipes, filter stone, dry wells, concrete slab bedding, and residential drainage.

4-9 inches, 25-75 lbs. per piece - Used in construction for solid stabilization, bank restoration, stonewall backing, gravity retaining walls, shoreline erosion prevention.

¾-1 inch pieces - Crushed limestone gravel. Used for concrete and asphalt mix, driveways, landscaping, and French drains.

#57 Washed Gravel

½-1.05 inch pieces - Limestone gravel. Used for a variety of projects including roofing, drainage, landscaping projects, driveways, playgrounds, concrete and asphalt projects and more.

¾-1 inch pieces - Crushed stone powder mixed with stone dust. High quality mix of Bluestone fines. Used for walkways, paver installations, patios, horse rings, select backfill, and include sub-base for parking lots, roads, and highways.

Mason Sand

Masonary Sand used in mixing mortar, also used for leveling above ground pools in private residences.

Surge Stone

2-4 inches - Granite rip-rap stone, Commonly used for drains, erosion control, rough parking lots and driveways. Excellent top layer for stabilization of muddy areas for new driveway and trails. Good for dust control.

Granite stone is processed from crushed granite. Used for decorative purposes, driveways or parking lots.

#8 Pea Gravel

Limestone pea gravel. Used for landscape, walkways, pathways. For best results, place a weed-barrier fabric under the pea gravel. The fabric allows water to reach the soil, but blocks the light that weeds need to grow.

Stone Dust

Also known as Stone Dust #10. Popular with homeowners. Used for final base before laying stones, bricks or pavers for patios, pathways or walkways. Also for commercial use in horse rinks.

1 inch sized fine particles. Used for road and paver base.

⅜ - ½ inch sized pieces - Crushed stone, granite screening. Used for concrete and asphalt mix.

Manufactured Sand

4.75 mm - Produced by crushing rocks, quarry stones or larger aggregates pieces into sand-sized particles. Also known as Pipe Sand, Utility Sand, ASTM C33, and Washed Concrete Sand. Used for concrete mixes.

Concrete Sand

Used as an ingredient in making concrete. Can also be used as Pipe Sand for holding pipes in place, and can be used to level uneven ground or walkways
